Lara Shecter believes strongly in a few things. She believes in the importance of family, history and storytelling. She believes the magic of childhood shouldn't be forgotten. And, she believes in keeping things simple, or a simple as you can when you have children.
Lara combined all of these beliefs in the creation of Now and Then. Lara set out to design a book that made it easy for children to capture the essence of childhood with words and pictures.
She wanted to create a keepsake that children would carry with them into adulthood to share with future friends and family. She also wanted to make life a little simpler for parents by giving them a special place to store report cards, drawings, and other irreplaceable documents that accumulate each school year.
