Bob Michel is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and spinner of tales. His original music draws on many sources: the dance tunes of Ireland and Appalachia, the blues of the Delta and the Piedmont, sea songs and chanteys, and old Tin Pan Alley hits and novelty numbers. But it always comes home to the little towns and quiet marshlands that line the coast of the Delaware Bay in southwestern New Jersey, the unique musical landscape of the Farther Shore.
