Bob is a musician and songwriter who has been actively involved in music ministry since 1991. Playing piano and singing at local churches in northeast New Jersey, where Bob and his wife are also residents, he hopes to spread the good news of the gospel through the gift of music. He believes that the Lord has blessed him with a heart to sing for God's glory and trusts that he will be led by God's Holy Spirit in all that he does.
Bob's conversion experience dates back to the fall of 1989, less than a year after the loss of his Dad, Robert James Mazzo, Sr. It was a crucial time in his life where he was in a deep search for God in his life. Having grown up in the Catholic church, he always had a basic faith in God and a sense that God was always watching out for him. However, it wasn't until 1989, at a charismatic church community in Newark, NJ, that he found the meaning of becoming "born again". During that fall season he was deeply touched by the love of so many wonderful people. It was then that he received Christ into his heart and declared Jesus as Lord and savior of his life.
Soon after, in 1991, someone noticed his talents at the piano and quickly invited him to play in the church's music ministry. For the next eight years, Bob would be found playing piano and singing for God every Sunday morning.
