- Firm was started in 1923 by Late B. M. Chatrath in Lahore. Mr. B. M. Chatrath did his C.A. from England. At the time of Independence in 1947 the firm shifted to Calcutta. Mr. B. M. Chatrath was an experienced person in the field of Accountancy, Audit, and Taxation and was a member of the Tax Tribunal. In the year 1955, Mr. M. M. Chatrath (Son of Late B. M. Chatrath) became a partner of the firm. He is currently the senior partner and is the guiding force of the firm with his vast experience of over 50 years.
