Here is some advice for new triathletes. Maybe those of you who've been competing for a while might learn something new, too! * It's important to warm up for the swim, especially when the water is frigi and you have no wetsuit. I failed to do this on my first triathlon and when I hit the water I started hyperventilating and drank half the lake. * Setting up T-1 in my first event which was the Coulee Du I laid my eyeglasses out on my helmet since I didn't need them for the run.
