Description
Blue Sun Ranch was conceived in the minds of James and Suzanne Powell in the early 1970's. In 1993 the Hubble Space telescope observed the first blue stars (suns) in the middle of a dense cluster of stars in the PEGASUS Constellation. Five times hotter than the earth's sun, the blue suns have no outer layers, but only the blue core responsible for sun's light.
Pegasus, the winged horse from Greek mythology, became the "thunder-horse of Jove" and carried lightening bolts for Zeus. He is also attributed with being the source of inspiration to poets and musicians. The Pegasus Spirit is personified in the Blue Sun Ranch Welsh Warmblood Sport Horses. These imprinted steeds are loyal, strong, graceful, and intelligent, with magnificent movement capable of dressage, jumping, and driving.
