A few years later, Louie parted ways with the band to pursue a solo career. Auditioning and performing on a talent show in Nashville Tennesee landed him a recording contract. That session produced a top 15 hit called “An Eye For An Eye” peaking at #11 overseas in the Netherlands. Soon after, Louie was opening shows for Nashville stars including Baillie and The Boys, Billy Joe Royal, Michael Twitty(son of the late Conway Twitty), Opry stars Jack Greene, David Frizzell, George Hamilton IV and Tommy Cash and The Cash Crew.
