The festival will firstly run a series of fundraisers and awareness events from October 2009. These events havent been chosen or rostered just yet, but treasure hunts, Battle of the Bands, concerts, dances, film showings, etc., are on the cards. These will be held in the schools, the church, the Ex-Servicemans Hall, etc. There will be a competition among the schools to design the festival poster.
