The Black Bird Quiltery is a hand guided machine quilting business located centrally in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Founded in 2003 (in part to conquer Lisa's growing pile of quilt tops) we offer a full range of quilting services. Whether you need a quilt top machine quilted, or an entire quilt made for you, we can do it.
We believe that using a professional quilter is the perfect solution to the growing stack of quilt tops that many quilters have. Using our quilting service helps you to get your quilts finished. Our aim is quality quilting at an affordable price.
Our range of styles runs from the soft all-over look of an edge-to-edge design, the fun of freehand stitching to the formality of motifs and custom quilting. So whether you need a simple throw made to match your bedroom décor, or a treasured quilt finished with heirloom detail, we can quilt it.
