Blackhawk Foundry has produced quality iron castings since 1920 Blackhawk Foundry was originally a division of Voss Manufacturing Company that produced and sold appliances. In 1954, Mr. Ben Butterworth became the owner and President of the company. During his tenure, the volume of the business grew four-fold. Following his death in 1968, the foundry was purchased by then Vice President Jim R. Grafton Sr. who immediately started a modernization program. His son Jim Grafton Jr.
