While I have lived with and cared for a variety of companion animals since childhood, I currently live with a passel of cats.
Willoughby, a handsome and friendly 8-year-old, was recently adopted from the wonderful folks at MEOW Cat Rescue. Syro, a 9-year-old Siamese mix who used to belong to a neighbor, is a chatty lovebug who gives great hugs. And former stray Finnegan, a 4-year-old Maine Coon, is always up for a meal and a good brushing. His purr is so loud that the neighbors have started to complain.
But it's Eibhlin, a 14-year-old weighing in at about 6 pounds, who's the boss (and the brains) of the outfit. She spends most of her time holding court on the bed, and the rest of the time keeping the boys in line.
