Blackbutt, like many country towns in Australia, still has that charming "small town" atmosphere. A greeting to a passing pedestrian, a wave to a fellow motorist, you know you're no longer in the city as this is the country life.
We strongly suggest you keep a check of your Speedo especially travelling through Moore, as it is a known RADAR ZONE
The Blackbutt Ranges assent is winding but only approximately 5-6 Kilometres. As you ascend the ranges you will immediately smell the pine and feel the crisp clean atmosphere.
