History

Named for a group of claims located by Elmer Enderlin in the 1950s.  These claims, two of which were later patented, include the Washington lode (mine), the Parnell mine (also an early claim in Washington Basin) and George Blackmon's Empire and Vanity group of claims (Ridenour: Stories of early prospectors, miners and mines in Idaho's White Clouds).
