Black Market Babies.com is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Black Market Enterprises, Inc., a corporation organized according to the laws of the Cayman Islands. We were founded in 1997 by our current president Ron Jamison, who planned to use us as a shell company to launder his ill-gotten drug-money.
Unfortunately, the "Black Market" name proved a little too obvious as a cover for illicit activities. Within a few months, the heat was on and Jamison managed to narrowly escape from a sting operation at a Days Inn in Omaha, Nebraska by planting his cocaine in the van of a vacationing family of Mormons. Ironically, they thanked him for the "baking soda" and said they would pray for him.
Jamison laid low for awhile, but when his stash of money ran low, he began to think of a new plan. This was a simple insurance-fraud scheme aimed primarily at widows, orphans, Catholic nuns and adorable little kittens. Within a few months he had managed to net $47,000 and several dozen dead mice, but the less-than-creative nature of his job left Jamison feeling unfulfilled. Then the authorities caught up to him.
