Description
Prior to the beginning of Bite Me! Biscuits, Inc., there was an Irish Setter who joined our family. It was brought to our attention that Dublin could be fatally allergic to beef. After reading the labels on doggie snacks, we found that the majority of treats were manufactured with either beef, beef bi-products or something else we couldn't pronounce that allows the item 30 years of shelf-life. It was then that we started making our own treats made with ingredients we would eat ourselves - all natural ingredients (why should our dogs receive anything else?).
Both Dublin and Kerry decided to share their new treats with the dogs of family and friends. Everyone loved them, even the two-year-old human counterparts. Then friends of friends and family members started to request these mouth-watering biscuits, some adjusted to please other allergies and flavors dogs enjoyed. The orders starting piling up and the birth of Bite Me! Biscuits, Inc. was evident.
A little over a year ago, we decided we needed more cooking space than a 9"x9" convection oven. We started renting a small shop that we could use as a storefront and bakery in Franklin, MA. Our first big purchase was a commercial-sized oven and it has been running ever since.
