R K & J Jones Ltd. are a family business operating at a 12 acre site close to Thetford in Norfolk, UK. They manufacture, dispense and distribute a wide range of building and decorating products. It is their Bird Brand products that are gaining the most recognition and has recently seen a refreshed identity and logo. The new Bird Brand Craftsman Range is the company's latest Brand investment and the first 12 months sales have been very encouraging indeed.
The company still services many of the same customers in East Anglia since it began trading in 1981, but has since expanded adding more vehicles, products and stockists. Critical to the company's future growth there are also a growing list of customers in other parts of the UK. The company now exports to Sweden, Iceland and Portugal.
The main 22 000ft warehouse is also used to wholesale complimentary products of other 'friendly' companies such as Everbuild, Coovar and Amokleen. These products can also be ordered alongside Bird Brand products to assist the minimum order requirement. When combined with its own Bird Brand products the total number of products available equal over 800 product lines.
