The British Inline Puck Hockey Association is recognised by the British Roller Sports Federation, UK Sport and the UK Home Country Sports Councils as the Great Britain Governing Body for the sport of Inline Puck Hockey played to the rules of the International Federation of Roller Sports (FIRS), these rules being based upon the ethos of non checking, with no blue and red line offside rules.
The British Inline Puck Hockey Association, also known as the BIPHA has been in existence for some thirteen years mostly under the leadership of Glynn White. During Glynn’s term of office the association has steadily grown to the point where it now has regions and leagues in England, Scotland, and Wales.
The BIPHA is a founder member of the British Roller Sports Federation and is affiliated to both the Confederation European Roller Skating (CERS) and the International Federation of Roller Sports, formerly known as Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports (FIRS) .
