- A bioger is a portable medical device that monitors and records biological information for long-term diagnostic analysis. The neuron is usually surrounded by a large number of support tissue. Some types of cells wrap around the axon to form an insulating sheath. This sheath may consist of a fatty molecule termed myelin, which delivers insulation for the axon and helps nerve signals navigation faster and farther.
