The mission of the Biometrics Institute is to be a forum for biometric users and other interested parties and to facilitate the wider use of biometrics. .
The Biometrics Institute has decided that the maintenance of its website www.biomet.org is no longer in the strategic interest of the Institute. Our focus is now on our www.biometricsinsitute.org site where we have been announcing all the Institute's activities, research and membership information since early 2002.
Biomet.org is predominately a catalogue of biometric suppliers and products and we feel it may be of greater value to another third party - such as a biometric wholesaler, a research organisation or possibly a systems integrator. It is currently rated third on the Google Web Directory
