BioProducts Canada Inc. is an industry-led, not-for-profit coalition funded by the private and public sectors.We identify the market demand for products needed now and in the future. This will result in funding, research and commercialization of bio-based products sourced from the agriculture, forestry and aquaculture sectors.
Farmers are producing crops that can be converted into higher value bioproducts while strengthening their own businesses and the surrounding rural economy.
The advancement toward a bio-based economy has the potential to place resource-rich Canada at the forefront of world economies in the global shift from dependence on non-renewable resources to sustainable renewable resources.
