In these straightened times, when it costs more to recycle paper than to send it to landfill, we thought that instead of spending money on Christmas cards, we would send what we saved on printed paper and postage - plus more besides - direct to several charities. This is our way of trying to make a difference, as well as doing our tiny bit to save the forests and our planet.
