Here at BRI we investigate the possibility that the observable commonly known as the “precession of the equinox” (seen as stars moving backward across sky) might actually be the observable (from earth) of the solar system curving through space, rather than the result of local torque acting upon the oblate earth (standard lunisolar theory). In fact, we can find no evidence that the earth precesses relative to objects “inside” the moving frame of the solar system (Sun, Moon, Venus, etc.)
