It's official, The Smashing Pumpkins are currently writing songs for their upcoming album, their first since 2000. no release date has yet been set, but the band plans to begin recording this summer.

After approx. 5 years (+ a few years elsewhere prior to that), www.Billy-Corgan.com has decided to close down and move on. There's simply not enough time left to do everything that running a large web site requires.

Closing down completely (−MACHINA II) seemed like the best alternative -- for me personally, as I don't want to end up with delegating work, etc. -- and that's what I'll stick to. Sorry to everyone who feels let down... Thanks to everyone who visited, and to Billy Corgan, of course!!! :)
