Description
Our involvement in the cycling community began back in the 80's when we started leading rides for our local bike club and soonafter were elected into leadership of the 2,000 member organization. Also during this time, we found the delight in travel "on two wheels" logging thousands of miles traveling the world on our bicycles.
In our desire to share this experience with others we started to create and host cycling events and trips, and before we knew it, our volunteer efforts evolved into our labor of love-Bike and the Like!
We have been a League of American Bicyclists Advocacy Group for over ten years and volunteer and raise money for cycling and environmental issues in the areas where we host tours. We are also members of the National Bicycle Tour Directors Association, which works to maintain higher standards in the bicycle touring industry.
