Our Mission :
The prevailing misconception in America is that one person alone can not make a difference; only a group can impose change. Yet every group starts with one person talking to another. From there, seeds are planted, ideas sprout, and new grass roots movements are born. Bainbridge Island Activist is one such idea.
In any healthy society there are those who challenge the "status quo". If nothing else, this ensures that a community; whether it be local, national, or international; is continually re-evaluating it's position on a variety of issues.
The Bainbridge Island Activist intends to operate as a springboard for such ideas and activities. Currently we are invested in the promotion and support of two such projects. The first is the "Wake up Now Kitsap" demonstration. The second is the ongoing promotion of traffic and pedestrian safety at the High School Road Roundabout.
