For five years, I worked for NOW Magazine in Toronto, Canada in the capacity of New Media Manager. NOW is an alternative weekly: a local newspaper featuring news and entertainment articles and listings. The paper is available free-of-charge to readers, advertising has been the company’s primary revenue source for over twenty years. NOW employs over 100 people.
