The principal of the firm, Mr. Oloipola Terrence Betham B.Com Auckland University is a Fellow (FPA) of the Samoa Institute of Accountants and member (CA) of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
He is the author of several business articles and has an extensive executive background in both the private and public sectors. He was a former CEO and Chairman of Polynesian Airlines and continues to serve on several Boards in both the private and public sectors. His many directorships include former Chairman of the National Bank of Samoa and the Central Bank of Samoa.
He has chaired many commissions for the Government of Samoa including the commission of inquiry that was the precursor to the change from direct tax to consumption or VAGST taxes in Samoa.
Ernest Betham is a Director in the firm and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland, Brisbane Australia and is a qualified CPA (Australia). He has been with the firm for at least the past fifteen years after having worked in the Government Audit Office in Samoa and in Coopers & Lybrand, Brisbane, Australia. Ernest Betham is responsible for the assurance services of the firm and has vast experience working within the region.
Hanalei LeungWai-Betham is a Senior Manager with the firm and has been with the firm for the last eight years. She is a Commerce Graduate from Otago University, New Zealand and is a qualified Public Accountant with the Samoa Institute of Accountants. Hanalei is responsible for managing the assurance business of the firm and is a member of the Education Committee of the Samoa Institute of Accountants.
