Best Woodworks is a small custom woodworking studio located on Bowen Island on Canada's west coast very close to Vancouver in beautiful British Columbia. Best Woodworks builds exclusively in the style of the Arts and Crafts movement. The appeal of our designs is that they find their origins in the same spirit and philosophy that manifests itself as the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 1900’s.
What I put into a truly hand crafted piece will reward you and your family for generations. Many exceptional pieces have been made from quarter sawn White Oak and it remains a warm and wonderful material when properly finished. However, I will happily work in other hardwoods that are more appropriate to your décor. You are a key element in our creative process.
