BestFrenchTutor.com who has been my personal French instructor for the last 8 months. When tutoring began, I was at a beginner’s level, never having taken French classes during my formal education (early education or during college). After the first few months, because of Francois’s fresh teaching style and his never-wavering dedication, I was able to understand and speak conversational French. I am now full-on intermediate level. Francois is quite a diligent tutor; he is always well prepared for our lessons, which are twice a week,each lasting about an hour and a half. He always has his lesson plans ready when we meet and he maps out his lessons weeks/months in advance, so that I know exactly where I need to be every week. He doesn’t rely on rote memorization or question and answer style teaching. Instead, he makes each lesson different from the last one; it’s typically very interactive and I find myself speaking French without reservations. His enthusiasm encourages me and the progress I’ve made pushes me to keep going. I am very grateful to have him as my French instructor/tutor.
