Bernard Resnick is a Philadelphia-based entertainment and sports attorney and manager. Before forming Bernard M. Resnick, Esq., P.C. in 1999, Mr. Resnick served as counsel to Zane Management, Inc., where he was involved in the representation of entertainers including Grover Washington, Jr., Charles Fambrough, and Pieces of a Dream, as well as numerous NFL, NBA, and MLB athletes, professional boxing champions, and Olympic medalists.
Mr. Resnick received his B.A. from Colgate University and his J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law. He has taught college classes and has lectured widely on entertainment law and related issues at bar association-sponsored continuing legal education seminars and at entertainment industry conferences such as MIDEM, the Billboard Magazine/American Urban Radio Network’s Hip Hop/R&B Conference and Awards, the Independent Music Conference, the Philadelphia Music Conference, the Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association, the Independent Music Conference, and the Millennium Music Conference. He has also served as an expert witness in several lawsuits.
