- Darin was chief architect of Macintosh system software at Apple Computer in the late 80s, and the technical lead for Apple's System 7 project. After Apple, Darin joined Andy Hertzfeld, Bill Atkinson, Phil Goldman, and others as a member of the General Magic team responsible for the Magic Cap software. He was director of the Magic Cap software development team and later became chief architect of Magic Cap.
