Description

The City of Centerville provides several ways for residents to learn more about our community and its events and activities. The Town Crier is our national award-winning, city-produced, bimonthly newsletter mailed to every resident’s home. The Centerville Watch is the Centerville Police Division’s crime prevention newsletter distributed monthly to residents and businesses participating in the Centerville Neighborhood or Business Watch groups. For more information about receiving these publications, call the Centerville City offices at 433-7151.

Centerville is a member of the Miami Valley Communications Council, a council of governments consisting of eight cities south of Dayton. Through the Communications Council, the City produces cable television programs including "Centerville Reports," a nationally recognized bimonthly newsmagazine program, and "Let’s Talk Centerville," a live monthly call-in program. Centerville City Council meetings are shown live on the third Monday of each month at 8 p.m. All City programming is shown on GATV10, the Government Access station. Three other cable channels provide community programming: CATV23 is the Community Access station, EATV24 is the Educational Access station, and GATV25 is also a government channel. Residents may also take part in creating their own programming through the Communications Council. Call the Miami Valley Communications Council at 438-8887 for more information.
