Belly Motions, Inc. was founded in January 2005 by aspiring Belly Dance Performer Portia and Musician Sergio Sanchez. These two artists took their passion for dance and music aiming high to establish what is quickly becoming a premier studio of Middle Eastern Dance in the Miami area. Belly Motions has gathered some of the most elite instructors, performers and choreographers the Belly Dance community has to offer. Currently on board teaching on-going classes are international performers Jihan Jamal, Nathalie, and Portia. Annual workshops are held with Ansuya, Hanan and many others to come.
Belly Motions is a school that aims to provide a comfortable,non-competitive place where any individual can learn to Belly Dance. Belly Motions welcomes individuals of all ages, sizes, shapes and backgrounds. Anyone can learn to Belly Dance!
