Description
Sarah is passionate about dance and is an extremely experienced performer and teacher. She began dancing at a young age, studying Ballet, Tap, Modern, National, Disco, Majorettes and Ballroom and Latin American. At the age of 12 she made a decision to concentrate on Ballroom and Latin American dance (you can find out more about her career in these styles on the Ballroom and Latin page). She now has 27 years of dancing under her belt and is a fully qualified dance teacher. For Sarah, part of the excitement of dance is the wide variety of styles and traditions there are to discover, and her journey through dance has led her to study Kathak (classical Indian dance), which she studied for 2 years and Belly Dance. Sarah fell in love with the creative freedom and pure joy of Belly Dancing and has been performing and teaching this style for 12 years. During this time she has worked on refining her art and has her own unique style, drawing on her background in Ballroom and Latin American Dance. Her philosophy is that "you never stop learning" and with this in mind, and with no expense spared, she is constantly seeking out the best Middle Eastern dance teachers in the world to train with.
When she has the time Sarah also enjoys flying (she has a PPL), archery, swimming and Jujitsu. She runs her own graphic design business and is also studying for a Bsc (hons) in Psychology.
