Other local cities got websites and still nothing about Belpre. The few sites that did start were never maintained and became so outdated that they never served any useful purpose. BelpreNet was started June 20, 2000 to provide a web presence for Belpre, Ohio. Since that time other Belpre sites have started to surface.
