After returning from WWII, Charles 'Buzz' Beeson, with his new wife May, started a family and a business. Before the war Charles had worked at Hook's Nursery in Lake County Illinois, so he thought he would give landscaping on the North Shore a try. They worked long and hard every day building a landscaping business, raising eight children, and keeping their faith in the American Dream. The business prospered and the children grew and started their own families.
