- My real name is Robin. Beeba is my nickname that my mom and a few others call me. I am very excited about my new endeavor, Beeba's Book Nook! Fall 2004 I had an idea for our school PTA to help raise funds without selling more candy bars! I thought I could buy used books cheap and resell them all for still a bargain price of $1 each. (Since having children, I've learned & come to really enjoy being a thrifty shopper.) I pulled it all together for our school in a few weeks and it was quite successful! The PTA also decided to hold it again (in June 2005) for summer reading. I really enjoyed doing it and I received such nice feedback that I decided to make a "job" out of it. My husband is very supportive of this idea and me and I'm very grateful and appreciative of him.
