- Situated on 25 beautiful hilltop acres in Plum Borough, Bible Baptist is a church with heart. For this congregation, the "heart" of the church is its devoted members and Pastor Don Stokes and his wife, Christine. Before being led to Bible Baptist in 1984, the Pastor and Mrs. Stokes enjoyed an 18-year long ministry in the State of Alaska where they helped to establish seven churches for the continuation and growth of the ministry. Afterwards, the Pastor and his family traveled the country ministering to different needs before receiving the invitation to shepherd Bible Baptist, where Pastor and Mrs. Stokes have served faithfully for the past 21 years. Pastor Stokes received his training at Tennessee's Temple Baptist Seminary and maintains that God has kept up his "continuing education" ever since.
