- Formed in March, 2003, BB Campbell and The Hambones have been staying busy playing the blues in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Although they are primarily a cover band, BB and The Hambones add their own style and interpretation to the blues standards of the day and throw in originals here and there. The band is heavily influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddy King, and Jimi Hendrix but also cover the likes of Otis Rush, Kenny Burrell, the Ventures, Dick Dale, Jimmy Reed, Doyle Bramhall, Buddy Miles, Albert Collins, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, and others.
