In the fall of 1962, several people expressed interest in a place of divine worship in the Valencia Park Community. A meeting was called on Friday, April 26, 1963 with Rev. L.L. Henderson presiding. The objective of organizing a church was the topic of discussion. The Group agreed to call another meeting on Sunday, May 5, at the Mabel E.
