The Zyoptix Diagnostic Workstation
The Zyoptix Diagnostic workstation represents a large increase in efficiency and accuracy of LASIK treatments. Combining the Orbscan topographer and Zywave abberrometer into one computer controlled interface, the diagnostic process is largely streamlined. The workstation includes a variety of user-interface improvements as well as reduced file sizes and faster data processing from a variety of hard drive and software improvements Bausch & Lomb have made.

The workstation includes the Zyoptix Zylink treatment calculator, an entirely automated program designed to guide the laser through your customized LASIK surgery. Zylink facilitates a reduced number of laser pulses, treatment faces, and thereby a much faster, accurate, and efficient surgical process.

Zyoptix 100
The Zyoptix laser delivers faster treatment times than any other Bausch & Lomb laser. It offers the only custom treatment with combined 1mm and 2mm spot scanning lasers, yeilding higher accuracy. For more standard LASIK operations, PlanoScan is used for nearly 1/4 conventional treatments in the US (1).
