Battrang-ceramics.org is a B2B ceramics marketplace run by the Bat Trang Export Promotion Centre (BTEP), under the Bat-Trang Ceramics and Pottery Association, (BTCA), introducing international buyers to a select range of traditional and modern ware carrying the Bat Trang brand.
Support for the Bat Trang brand is being provided by the Mekong Private Sector Development Facility, MPDF (www.mpdf.org), a multi-donor initiative managed by the International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the Worldbank group. With over thirty producers now members, the Association is able to provide them with a back-office with the services expected by international buyers
The skills needed to operate a professional back-office able to support the sales activities (e.g. handling Requests for Information (RFIs) and Request for Quotation (RFQs), arranging sample shipments, undertaking dialogue in foreign languages (esp. English), managing shipment QC, arrange export packaging, documentation etc)
