Description

My grandparents met in Toronto after WWII and raised my mother here. My father moved to Toronto from a farming community searching for opportunity. They met and a few years later I was born at Women's College in 1970. We lived on the Danforth for a few years and then moved to Milton and later on a farm between Acton and Guelph. I would visit my grandparents often in Toronto where they lived in the Beach just two doors away from the large streetcar depot on Queen Street. I was always amazed at the 'new' CN Tower and the log ride at Centre Island with every visit.

After attending RCC School of Electronics, at the old location at Spadina and College, I was employed at IBM Canada in 1990 working in the downtown district. I loved taking the GO Train in from Georgetown - very relaxing. Once I began working in Don Mills I no longer was able to take the GO Train. I drove for a few years and then decided to move into Toronto - the commute was draining me. I lived in Willowdale, then Scarborough next to the 'swinging lady' at Victoria Park & Eglinton, then Don Mills. I was involved in sports teams throughout the city as well as performing in community theatre from Etobicoke to North York to Scarborough.

In the summer of 1999, I met my wife, Val, in Weston during a play called "Wrong for Each Other". We soon moved in together in the Bloor West Village area and got married in 2002. We recently bought a "handyman's special" in the Humbercrest area and are expecting our first child on Christmas Day. I am currently employed as an Operations Manager with a Import and Distribution company located near Yorkdale Mall. I am also a part time student at York University – Atkinson College. I play ball hockey and am the best player on the team. I score like Hugh Grant driving on Jarvis St.
