Description
In 1984, having assisted and apprenticed with commercial photographers in Dallas, I began my freelance career in my own studio, specializing in large format photography and still life photography. I enjoyed many years of success in Texas, working with a variety of clients on assignments which included retail and catalog newspaper ads, retail image mailers, jewelry photography, hotel campaigns, and a range of editorial projects: still life, portrait and photo-illustration.
In 1999, my wife and partner, Beth, and I relocated our business to Maine, settling into a brightly lit third floor studio space in Portland's Old Port District, where we continue to enjoy our relationships with both regional and national clients.
Our studio offers creative advertising photography in both film and digital media. We bring to our pictures a careful eye for composition and an imaginative touch for styling. More importantly, we bring a willing mind for listening and communicating with our clients-- both those who are able to attend and direct their shoots, and those who are not, who instead rely on a broader range of our services and resources.
