Description
Howdy. The name's Matt, and though I'm not exactly sure why you'd give a shit, here's a rundown on me. Born in 1982 on the first of January, lived in Minnesota my whole life, giant geek and general misanthrope.
These days my life consists of sleeping, working, and reading, watching, and playing far too many comic books, movies, and video games. I also script and co-plot the comic you're hopefully reading in a manner befitting it's biblical nature, that being religiously. I've been into comics for the past 15 years or so. Probably longer. I started with the Harvey Toon comics, Richie Rich, Hot Stuff: The Little Devil, crap like that, and somehow moved from that to the occasional issue of DC's G.I. Combat. These were all 50-cent finds at antique stores my mom bought to keep me occupied. Later on, I became interested in the G.I. Joe toys, and from there, the comic. This was the first book I ever purchased regularly, and it got me interested in comics in general to a much greater degree.
What really got the ball rolling though was something called the Spider-Man Collector's Special. I convinced my mom to purchase it at the grocery store one day. It was a magazine format preview of the upcoming Spider-Man stories and also had some background on some big villains and the overall creative process. So that was how I came to collect Spider-Man. Every title. From there I moved to X-Men and that was it, lost cause kiddies. Now I buy a good 30 monthly books as well as a whole lot more.
