"If I knew I was going to get a kiss I would have bought you a new umbrella and said this one was lost," joked the man many years my senior. I smiled, and, well, something came over me. I bent toward the man and planted a slow kiss on his open mouth. We held the pose for a few seconds before he broke the kiss, bringing a look of disappointment to my face. "If we're going to do that, maybe I should drive to the back of the lot."
