Ballet Santa Barbara, a new professional dance company, was founded in the spring of 2005 by Artistic Director, Carrie Diamond. Ballet Santa Barbara will present original ballets by diverse choreographers and will utilize the highly talented dancers and select gifted students that reside in our community as well as the talents of respected guest artists. The company is committed to the highest artistic and technical standards with a mission to promote ballet as a means to enrich lives and provide learning and educational opportunities through dance.
