We estimate that $200 million is spent on telecommunications each year in the Ballarat region. All of this flows out of the region. This is potential revenue that a locally-owned and operated telco can capture and invest in:
Community benefit flows from a strong regional economy. Our vision for Ballarat is to use a collaborative buying group to improve the priority given to our region by telecommunications suppliers. Attracting and retaining local business boosts local employment, local investment and ultimately the strength of the Ballarat regional economy.
Who we are?
Ballarat Community Enterprise Limited (ACN 111 713 065) has been established to provide telecommunications and other services to the Ballarat region and distribute profits to shareholders as well as local community projects.
