Description
Our hilltop Victorian farm home has been in the family for over three generations. It was a large working dairy farm, run for years by Richard's father and grandfather. Richard grew up on the farm, but left in 1958 to pursue other interests. In 1989, he returned with his wife, Priscilla, to live in the farm home. After considerable planning and renovation they opened the house as a bed and breakfast in June of 1990.
Over 300 acres for casual hiking, bird watching and nature walks. Go cross-country skiing, then warm up with a hot drink by a fire in the large fieldstone fireplace in the living rooms. In the summer, you may enjoy our heated pool in the orchard with its views of the mountains. You may choose to relax in the shade of the screened porch or sun yourself on the spacious lawns . All in all, there is something here for everyone.
Two spacious living rooms for the use of our guests, complete with a color television, a VCR, a piano, and a large fieldstone fireplace. Our guests often say that they enjoy the atmosphere created by the family antiques, furniture, oriental rugs, and original artwork.
