Atwood’s Bakery opened its doors in October 1977 as a small cake supply store located in Pineville, Louisiana. In 1980, Atwood’s took over an existing bakery located on Texas Avenue. Then in 2004, after outgrowing that location, the Atwood’s moved the bakery to the current location at 1125 MacArthur Drive. Mark and Rhonda Atwood met in college. He was a religion major and she a business major.
